          1st meeting ( 26 August 2019 )

          4.1 Warm up

5 minutes​

Activities

Time

  • The teacher greets students.

  • The teacher lets students do the ice breaking.

  • The teacher teaches the math symbols.

          4.2 Presentation

15 minutes​

Time

  • Giving the example situation and how to find the answer.

  • 3 numbers are added together, we will add the first number with second number or you can add second number with third number for first step. After that, we can add with the last number. Then we will get the same sum. And we call this the property that associative property of addition.

          4.3 Practice

35 minutes​

  • The teacher gives some questions and asks volunteers to write down the answers on the white board.

  • Playing game in groups.

  • Students will separate in 5 groups for 4 or 5 persons in a group.

  • The teacher explains the rules of this game.

  • Student should sort the number and the math symbols for the best answer by giving question from teacher.

          4.4 Wrap up

5 minutes​

  • Choose on student groups as they read aloud their equations.  Let students check to see if they are correct.

  • The teacher asks questions to summarize students' knowledge.

  • The teacher gives the present to students who have high score.
