Typical Al - Amjad Program

WAFA

       Wafa is a method of learning the Koran taught at Al-Amjad Islamic Schools, first in North Sumatra, with the characteristic of using the right brain as a method of understanding, practicing, and memorizing the Koran.

         Wafa is also known as the hijaz tilawah which has a distinctive uniform tone, even all students have the same tone in reading the Koran.

LITERACY

         Al-Amjad Islamic University is designed as a school with good literacy facilities and components. The availability of reading corners in each class, thousands of literacy materials in the library, a routine reading schedule in the morning for 15 minutes, and writing a reflective journal in the afternoon is a unity of literacy activities that are very beneficial for students. There is an obligation for every student to finish reading non-subject books for the development and habituation of literacy in themselves.

AL - QUR'AN INTEGRATION AND HADITH

         Al-Qur'an as a way of life for every Muslim is used as a reference in learning. Every material that is taught, will be informed about integration in the Qur'an or Hadith, in order to further instill to students that Islam as rahmatan lil 'alamin for all mankind.

IMPLEMENTATION AND SUPERVISION OF WORSHIP

        Worship is taught, carried out, and monitored thoroughly in Al-Amjad, starting from the Dhuha Prayers in the morning, Dzuhur and Asr in congregation, up to the obligation to report mandatory worship and sunnah activities carried out at home even on holidays. All of this ensures the establishment of synergy between parents, students and Al-Amjad.
